Mellon exceeds 5 million cards milestone in the retail sector

Cards represent a convenient transaction medium for retailers, enabling the identification of the card-holder, the collection of useful data and the provision of benefits in an organized manner

Mellon Technologies, one of the largest Greek IT companies with a leading role in the electronic transactions market, announced today that it exceeded the 5 million cards milestone for retail applications, namely loyalty cards and gift cards. In the last decade the company has developed many innovative card-based solutions for different sectors in the Greek market, and has contributed to the implementation and support of the most popular card-based loyalty and gift-card campaigns.

Card-based loyalty programs enable businesses to offer additional benefits to their customers and strengthen their competitive advantage, adopting at the same time a structured marketing process and decreasing the corresponding costs.
